Top five[5] movies of 2022

 

1) Prey

Movie: 1h 40m

This story surrounds a young female warrior as she strives to prove herself, she lives with her mother and brother not much is said about her father but it is obvious the amount of trust that is placed in the warrior title.

The main character is a girl that aspirers to be a warrior but seems to make lots of mistakes, she is often advised to be a healer by her mother. After having an argument with her brother the previous day She goes out the next day to catch a good prey to finally be acknowledged by her clan and her family for what she is (a warrior). Out on the hunt she notices trails of an unknown creature and decides to capture it as her prey. She is then capture by a group of literate men that were also hunting for that particular creature. She is captured and used as bait for the mysterious creature to appear long story short the monster kills all the hunter, the girl’s brother that also came to save her was captured but both eventually escaped and were able to kill an amputate the creature. They returned as the heroes of the clan.

2) Top gun: maverick

The plot includes both a new role for Maverick back at Top Gun, having the son of his former deceased backseat from the first movie a member of the team he is training, and of course, lots of action and afterburners from airplanes.  It is a fun picture for an airplane geek to watch, even though we know very well that today’s dogfights with fifth-generation aircraft would occur from a hundred miles away rather than close up.  But that’s cinematic license and makes for a more interesting storyline – that it’s all about the pilot.  And Tom Cruise and the Top Gun team are those pilots.

The movie has a bit of everything, including characters from the original Top Gun, interesting sub-plots, love interests, and the appropriately named Maverick for his exploits that have prevented his rise above the rank of Captain after so many years as a naval aviator.  It is a fast paced movie that captures your interest quickly, and I had zero looks at my watch during the picture, which for me is a rarity.  It is simply that good and very entertaining. 

3) Doctor strange in the multiverse 

Movie: 2h 6m

Rating: Gold

the doctor is shown to be lonely. While not regretting his decision to be a super hero but is a bit envious of his ex’s fiancé who was getting married and he was invited. During the ceremony the was a disturbance and Mr Steve (doctor strange ) had to go and rectify the issue he then meets a girl with ability to jump through galaxies, together with her they try to escape from the grasp of the scarlet witch who became bitter after the death of her children.  

4) Do revenge

Movie: 1h 58m

Rating: Silver

The social life of a teenage girl is in crisis when the student president leaks a video of one of the girls Drea striping and moaning to the who school now Drea wants revenge and teams up with a new girl at their school who also hates someone at their school for humiliating her when she ‘came of the closet’. They both plan and try to execute a plan to humiliate the class president for leaking the nude video of his girlfriend, it is later reviled that Drea is the scum who humiliated her when they where younger and simply forgot.

The student president was finally exposed as thing as got out of hand between the two girls but all was forgiven.

5) Black Adam

Rating: Gold

This is a film featuring Dwayn Johnson as Black Adam and is an antihero (villain and the hero) not much can be said about black Adam because all his family deid a long time ago according to the comics he was imprisoned after killing six of the seven wizards that gave him is powers. In the movie this vengeful anti hero was finally free of his imprisonment and went about causing maham in the city he is shown to be very passionate about his cause and is also willing to do anything for that cause.
