series this year 2021, where we saw many
memes about this particular series on various platforms, it trended for good
reasons first let me introduce you.
This
is one of the best Korean series honestly, the main character is a failure in
all aspect of his life, He lives with his mother don’t have a job and doesn’t
want one. He has a daughter and he is divorced leaving his daughter in the
hands of his wife who is now married to someone else. After he disappoints his
daughter on her birthday, he meets a man in the train station who makes an
offer to give him 200dollarts if he wins in a game of his choice, he immediately
agrees and plays the game several times until he finally wins and is rewarded
with the prize and a card, he tells him if he wanted more money for games he
should call the number on the card and he would be registered when he got home
very happy his mother begins to insult him for being such a failure he did not
intend to call the number at first but later does, and they gave him specific
instructions to follow and he follows it to the teeth,he was abducted and drugged,
after a while he then wakes up in a locked room with 456 on his shirt ,they where
455 people besides him that was selected, they were all like him in one
financial debt or the other and they all needed the money that was promised to
the winner, when they where all awake
men wearing red and a mask with different shapes on their face, this is where
it gets interesting, They are informed of three rules which they must all
follow, then they proceeded to the first game which was called redlight green light,
many people die during this game and they then realise the truth about the game,
you lose, you die, so according to the 3rd rule they took a vote to
stop the game and majority choose to stop the game and it did but few days
later they came back after realizing the tragedy that is their lives , they all
played until two people where left all his friends died during the games and
the 3rd person apart from him was killed by his former friend who he
now face in the squid game, we beats him but in order for his friend not to die
he refused to win the game and his friend later commits suicide and he wins
thew sum of 45.6million for a year he lived like a poor person after his mother
dies but later after findind out the
truth behind the squid game the then begins to spend the money and keeping the
promises he made to various players.
